Thessaloniki welcomes it’s biggest sport event of the year. On the 12th and 13th September, top athletes from all over the world will compete for victory and defend their titles.
World Athletics Final "Thessaloniki 2009" promises to offer two spectacular days full of passion, emotions, winners and top performances from the biggest stars of athletics.

Five years after the Olympic Games of 2004 in Athens, Greece is proud to host again a major athletic event and give the fans the opportunity to experience top athletes in full action.
On the 12th and 13th of September, 36 finals in total will take place at the Kaftanzoglio Stadium of Thessaloniki.

Children under 12 years have free admission only for the upper sections (5€ 1-day ticket, 7€ 2-days ticket).

From Friday 11th September and on, another kiosk, situated in front of the Olympic Museum of Thessaloniki (Agiou Dimitriou & Tritis Septemvriou street, at 200m from Kaftanzoglio stadium), will be open for the public from 10:00 to 18:00 on a daily basis. The athletics fans who have already booked their tickets through www.tickethour.com or Piraeus Bank, will be able to collect their tickets from the above kiosk.
In case you have purchased your tickets through the designated Automated Payment Systems (easypay) of Piraeus Bank you do not need to exchange them at the venue’s Box Office; you can enter the venue with the Bank's voucher.
